Dr. Jennifer Saam
Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Saam graduated first in her class at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, and went on to complete an additional three years of specialty residency training at Swedish Medical Center in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery. Special interests include sports medicine, biomechanics, and pediatric foot problems.
Through years of competitive running and nordic skiing, Dr. Saam has first-hand knowledge of the aches and pains experienced by athletes. She has completed eleven marathons (including three Boston Marathons…soon to be four!), numerous half-marathons and 10Ks, and is a running member of Club Northwest. During the winter she is an avid cross-country skier and has completed six “Birkies“, one Norwegian “Birken”, and is one of the few athletes who has the honor of doing “Birkie to Boston” twice, which is when you do both the American Birkebeiner cross-country ski marathon and the Boston Marathon in one season.
After 17 years in private practice, Dr. Saam closed Bellevue Podiatry to began a sabbatical year off in January 2023 to spend time with her family. She has just returned, and is excited to announce that she has joined the Podiatry team at Pacific Medical Centers! She looks forward to continuing her focus on high-quality patient care, while being part of a team at PacMed. You may schedule an appointment with her in Issaquah or Renton by calling (888) 472-2633. In this new role, she looks forward to seeing patients of all ages, focusing on non-surgical care.
